Lots of promise in this tag.
There's something you did wrong inbetween these two phases
It needs the darkness depth and contrast of the second one, but some of the color kept from the first one without being too much of a color mess. Then again, the style of the tag is pretty crazy and wild, so I think a little messiness is forgivable.
As for the bottom one,
Erase some of the dark multiply layer you've put over his arm....the fact that his arm is shrouded in darkness looks a little odd. Be careful in making the yellow too green. Try to keep a combination of yellow and green, rather than a yellowy green. If you added in some typography or more crisp pink and yellow pentooling to the left, it would help the tag immensely I think.
Try to use a sharp, bold and interesting font to compliment Nomura's art style and the brash, electrifyingly crazy flow of the tag.
