You may have not noticed this but in the very end of the TGS trailer with the credits and release date if you paused it and looked at the bottom print carefully. It said

I don't know any final fantasy series from 1990 but I do know is 1997 is FF7, 1999 is FF8 or FF9 I forgot, 2001 or 2002 is FFX, 2005 is FFX-2. Is this really all the series from those dates on which final fantasy series will be in KH2 just theory I guess.

No, FFX-2 was released in 2003. If there is going to be any characters from final fantasy from the year 2005 it will most likely be someone from Advent Children. Advent Children was released in september in japan and it's coming out in november here in America. If I am right and there is going to be an Advent Children character in KH2... IT BETTER BE KADAJ!!! (Or maybe Kadaj with Yazoo and Loz).

As for the 1990 final fantasy I doubt that it will be from the first final fantasy since none of the characters had a personality (besides, that one was released back in the 80's in japan. My guess would be that it MIGHT be a character from Final Fantasy IV, like Cecil, or maybe Kain. That would be cool to see a character from Final Fantasy IV in Kingdom Hearts 2.

someone on the KHU forums said that KH1 and KH:CoM also have a 1990 in their copyright note. Since FF4 or 5 (jap) came out that time which first starred our beloved Moogles, it is most probably referring to them and not a new chara

he was the character design for ff on 1990? i think not. anyway he wasn't the character desinger for ff9. i hope every ff chracter he create are in kh2. if not then there's going to be kh3!!! ^_^

If you pay attention to the trailers, Cloud is wearing his Advent Children costume... so that may be where the 2005 is coming from. (That's the only one I can explain)

I think it would be neat to have Yuna, and Paine in the game. I wonder what a child like paine would look like though? It would be odd though, if the game has Tidus, Auron, Yuna, and Paine.

2000 is FFIX 2005 is NOT FFX-2 that was 2004 possibly 2003 im not so sure and 2001 is FFX

dont forget that Sora and co are also square-enix, so the 2005 could come from them(since the game comes out in december), same goes for 2002 or 2001, that could be related to KH1
