Kingdom Hearts: Coded and Re:Coded

Hey everyone, I have read about KH:Coded and Re:Coded but still don't fully understand what they are about.

So can anyone tell the story behind Coded and what Re: Coded may be about, also how it connects to the overall plot. Thanks

KH coded takes place right after KH2, and it was released in Japan episodically on Docomo Phones. Jiminy is looking through the journal and sees a strange message "We must return to free them from their torment." And so they send Data Sora into the journal to find out what said message means.

Re:coded is a remake of coded on the DS, but with new gameplay, which releases October 7th in Japan.
