KH2 Game from america working on a british PS2?

Does anyone know if a copy of Kingdom Hearts 2 from america will work on a PS2 bought in england?

no it won't, you need something to make it work if you import it from america i can't remember what it is though @.@

It's a MOD Chip for us in Australia. That might be what you need. No clue where you get them from.

You could always buy an american PS2 when you get the game, lol.

you need a swap magic card, and a NTSC(American) PS2 KH2.

Not only do you need Swap Magic 3.6 to make your ps2 run the game. You need to change the output of your tv. Since your TV is in PAL, running an NTSC game on a PAL tv will cause the game be black and white and spazzy even if you get the PS2 to run the game, I wrote a guide about this on this forum try searching for "Europeans getting" or "get KH2 on March 28th" Like I said changing the Ps2 signal (from PAL to NTSC) via a mod chip or Swap Magic won't be enough. Because as long as your TV is in PAL nothing will work. However, you can patch the game to PAL using some sort of Freeware, that way you won't need to mod the ps2, or mod your tv

actually, some TV's in this region are NTSC signal, my TV is. so check that aswell.
