Chances of Ansem being her father is just even chance, when Ansem appeared once sora stabed himself with the darkkeyblade, Kairi didn't even say hi or anything to Ansem if she knew him.

But to that she may not have noticed much about Ansem as She is in shock as Sora is casting away. But this is only a point that happened in the game.

Also, when he did say 'Special girl' he was focusing more on how unusually pure her heart was (thus Malificent's wanting to capture her) and not that she was his daughter.

There is no real proof that Kairi and Ansem are related

Example 1:She lives in da Hollow Bastion...She seen in da library!SHE ANSEM'S KID!

Ahem...I do recall Leon..Yuffie..Cid...Aerith....all lived in Hollow Bastion..and in the ending of the game..they seemed to know a LOT about the library section...I believe Leon and the others could go anywhere in the castle..even the library

Example 2:She is a rpincess of da hearts!
Princess of hearts mean purest of hearts...You dont need to be a real princess to have a pure heart

Example 3:there is none...Ppl use the examples above to think Kairi is related to ansem

if anyone has anymore ideas about Kairi and Ansem relationship I'll be happy to shot it downXDj/k

know that i have read the new ansem reports, i agree that she is definitly not ansems son. i kind of feal dume for puting this thread up but hay, im new to this. but who is kiaris real parents. at least we know it isn't leon, yuffie, sid or arith or they would have said something. (just a thought earlier) lets hope we see them in the next kingdom hearts. but what i don't get is what the heck is wrong with these kids. they just leave without even telling their parents. i hope sora goes home to destiny island to find a big smack from his mom!(just kidding)

Think about that for a while, figure out what's wrong with what you just said...

As far as kairi's (not kiari's) real parents go...it really isn't that important...But her adopted parents (or her dad at least) is the mayor of the little place that Sora and the gang live (I belive we find this out in a flashback).

What's wrong with the kids? Nothing, they probably go to destiny islands with their parents permission, but Square doesn't show them asking because they're cool like that.
