I was watching A Nightmare Before Christmas and noticed something. In one of the songs titled "Jacks Obsession" he says the following line:

Simple objects, nothing more
But something's hidden through a door
Though I do not have the key
Something's there I cannot see
What does it mean?
What does it mean?
What does it mean?

Could the key he is referring to be the keyblade?

No. Kingdom Hearts wasn't even thought of back when that movie came out.

Maybe but I don't know if Sora has opened the door or not and there is no way that Jack will be able to use a Keyblade.

EDIT: oh your reffering to the movie there is no connection to it at all

Keys are a metaphor that's been around since they invented the lock. Needless to say, that's been eons before Nomura ever smoked whatever he needed to smoke to give Sora a huge Key as a weapon.
While it's nice of you to point it out, eh. Even I don't relate anything and everything key-related to KH, and I'm, well... me :\
