Also, which PS3 version should I opt for?

I want to be able to get one as well as have enough money to get one new or used game.

I think if you trade it into GameStop, you'll get $100 for it.

What kind of 360 is it and what are you including?

I would normally recommend eBay, but unfortunately since the new Xbox 360 was announced, many many people are dumping their old 360s onto eBay, and thus the demand's pretty low and the prices are not very enticing ($60-110 per 360).

And I learned that I can get about....$150 or so from Gamestop when I sell all the extra crap.

Well what you could do is trade it in towards a ps3 to gamestop. Also, if there are any games that you don't want anymore, you can put that towards your ps3 too! My brother took in like three games, and got the super mario galaxy 2 for like twelve bucks.

Yeah, definitely sell it to GameStop. You won't get anything for it on eBay right now.

That is a huge rip-off. GameStop takes advantage of people like your brother who think they're getting a deal for that.

I want to do the same thing and I called like last week on Thursday and they said cause of the new 360 that they will give me $60 for my Arcade, Wireless Controller, and the necessary cables. But they have an offer going on until the 27th saying that I can get a extra $25, so thats $85, plus they will give me like $12.50 more for the 60 GB Hard Drive, Halo 3, and Shadowrun that I have, $97.50. Also, I have a rechargable battery and charger for the controller but I forgot to ask how much I would get for that but I mean thats pretty low now and does saying that you want to put it towards a PS3 really make the 360 worth more?

You can sell Halo 3 for $15, Shadowrun for $6, and the hard drive for almost $50 on eBay.

If you had the Limited Edition, you'd know it. I have the Limited Edition.

Comes in a giant metal lock-box with the soundtrack, a R* keychain, a GTA license plate, and other stuff.

If it's in good condition, you can sell it on eBay for around $7-15.
