I've used every single AP Up I picked up in the game on Sora, and he still doesn't have enough. Mind you, you wouldn't want it, because some of them are pointless and then there's like a million 'Auto-thingy' abilities.

This is KH not KHII, though the answer is basically the same.
But you will only have to choose which special moves you want to be able to use.

imo the best thing to pick is the staff and to give up the sword. you get a little less
attack power and one fewer item slot but the 2 extra mp make up for it.

That's Final Mix, there's many stat changes in that game along with others. You need a NTSC U/C(North American) guide of it.

I just know that I picked the sword first and gave up the rod (I don't use magic too much) every time I've ever played the games and I've always gotten through them all with ease.
Plus, Max stat changes at level 100 mean nothing to me since I always use every ---- Up item I ever obtain on Sora anyways.
