look, if riku wanted to use the power of darkness before he turned into xehanorts heartless then he would use a blindfold to see darkness and therefor fight in darkness, do you get it now.

I get it. But your WRONG! I'm sorry to tell you but it's because Riku is changing into Xehanort's heartless. Riku's eyes start to get orange just like Xehanort's so he hides them with the blindfold.
At least, that's what I've read.
