I just purchased a copy of GTA 4 for ps3 and I'm having issues. It freezes from time to time, and the sound cuts out alot. I would really like to know what to do to fix this problem.

Its probably either you're PS3 or the game. Check for scratches. If it doesnt do this with other games, its probably the disc. Try cleaning it with glas cleaner. Other wise, you gotta buy a new one. If that new one doesnt work, then its probably the PS3, or you just bought two faulty games in a row :/

In addition to the disc checks, make sure you have your PS3 in a nice open, ventilated space so it doesn't overheat. Also just try restarting your PS3 a couple of times with it in. As well as those, you might just require a system update as well, if you can do so.
