Play Bloody Mary. Or eyeball relay - kind of like an egg relay, except instead of an egg you take a ping pong ball and paint it to make it look like an eyeball, then place the ping pong ball on a spoon that you hold with your teeth, and race along a course. Play Mummy; divide people into teams. One person will be the "mummy," and the other people on the team will wrap them with toilet paper or gauze, or even masking tape. The mummy spins around while the others wrap them. The team who can wrap their mummy the quickest wins. Just don't forget to unwrap them.
Or play pumpkin golf. Make a jack-o-lantern (or if you're lazy, or your parents won't let you carve one yourself, buy a plastic jack-o-lantern and take out the lightbulb), but make sure to make the mouth extra large. Build a cardboard ramp about one to two feet side from the ground to the bottom of the pumpkin's mouth (you'll most likely need some support for the ramp). Tape the ramp to the floor for stability, then mark a starting point (you can use tape, marker, whatever) a few feet away from the start of the ramp. The older you guys are, the further away the mark should be. Each player gets 3 shots (or, in other words, the par is 3). Each time the ball makes it into the jack-o-lantern, the player gets a piece of candy. At the end of the game, the player with the most pieces of candy wins.
Try pumpkin bowling. Use the little 4-inch pumpkins instead of bowling balls and try to knock down pins, just like in a regular bowling game. Or, if you like, get 10 empty, 20-oz bottles (empty coke bottles work well; use plastic instead of glass), and make labels to put on them that say things along the lines of, "Cyanide," "Arsenic," "Poison," "Snake Venom," etc. You can use index cards for these; just use your imagination. Or you can get wine bottle wraps for this purpose - you can buy these at any Wal-mart type store or online. Making the labels is optional. Keep score like you would in a regular bowling game. You can also use empty soda cans too. You can use pretty much whatever you want, but just make sure that it's not glass. If you use glass, break it, and end up getting hurt, all I can say is, "I told you so."
Another: Pumpkin penny toss. Carve out a couple pumpkins (or use the plastic jack-o-lantern as above - you can reuse the same one from the pumpkin golf if you want) and Line the inside with plastic wrap/Saran wrap, or aluminum foil. Make sure to make the top opening quite large. Or if you want, use several of the smaller pumpkins and line them as above. Place the pumpkins a couple feet away and give each person 10-20 pennies (or chocolate coins - I would suggest you freeze these for a couple hours first). Each person takes a turn tossing pennies into the pumpkin. Each time they make it, they get a piece of candy. At the end of the game, when everyone's thrown all their pennies, the one with the most candy wins.
Tell scary stories, but with a bit of a twist. Sit in a circle in a dark room (pitch black is preferable, but you can use candles, small lamps, or even blacklights if you want). One person starts off the story, then the next person adds to the story, then the next adds to that, etc. Make it go all the way around the circle. The goal is to make it as horrifying/gross/nightmare-inducing as possible.
