FFVII: Rising Avalanche

This is a collaberation between Heartlesswhisper and myself! Enjoy!
I develped this idea after watching Advent Children! XDD It's frickin' wicked!!
Anywho........

Story:
After many years, the newest Turk and Shinra are trying to rebuild the company to it's former glory. The president has ling since, been replaced by the newest generation. But this president seeks power. Not through others suffering, but force. He heard what power Jenova contained and managed to retrive the final cellular remains of Jenova's DNA. He now seeks to regenerate Jenova to create a being to channl the lifestream of teh planet for his own selfish gain.

Alongside this, new uprising of problems, there have been reports of cloaked figures moving throughout various cities and villages. Searching for something, and killing those who did not have what they sought. They have devostated villages and such, searching for something. Although, it is uncertain who these people are, or what they seek, it is obvious that they do not wish to do this for the good of the people.

But as in many cases, there are a selected few who may be able to see through the dark. And be the light of the tortured, and heal the land from yet another impending disaster. And they have rebuilt and reformed the Avalanche group. Just as the next SOLDIERs of Shinra have begun their cruel raine over everyone. Now there is only a few memebers of the new Avalanche, but more memebers are needed for this insane task of saving the planet.

But this won't be easy. In the first adventure, there was one evil force known as Sephiroth. Now............there appeared to be more............

Name: Ryn Lockheart
Age: 20

Appearence: Ryn has shoulder-length dark brown hair with a light brown streak to the side. She has crimson red eyes, rarely ever holding hate or anger in them. Her clothing consists of a sky blue sweater-like hoodie jacket and a pair of black cargo's, along with a pair of black and white high-top sneakers. On both hands she wears the well known Premium Heart gloves. Underneath her hoodie she wears a simple white tank the bottom of it ending just above her bellybutton.

Personality: Ryn has a very care giving and kind personality, she may be tough and at times brutal in battle. But, she is a very kind-hearted person who will never let anyone down, and will make sure nothing ever harms her loved ones. Ryn is most of the time shy around people.

Bio: Ryn is your average girl, being related to the very well known Tifa Lockheart and being part of the new Avalanche crew, most, if not all, know her around the city and elsewhere. She has taken responsibilty of the Seventh Heaven bar, keeping it from falling down to the ground. Ryn may not look like a tough girl, but once you meet the end of her fists you'll change your opinion soon enough.

Name: Daeman or Day for short

Age: 21

Gender: Male

Weapon(s): Sephiroth's Sword (found it after a few years of searching). He also has his father's sword as a backup. Miscellaneous abilities.

Appearence: He looks like his father, shoulder length hair, but icy blue this time. He has dark purple/silver eyes, and stands about 6'2 or so. He wears a black coat like his father as well, with dark clothing underneath.

Personality: Naran is a very interesting individual. He is extremely intelligent and strategical. He also is somewhat silent, but can talk and when he does people usually listen. He has feelings, but he mainly hides them anymore.

Bio: He grew up with his mother, a young woman named Elise, for the first twelve years of his life. At that age, his childhood and whatever was left of it cracked away from him. His mother was sick and dying, and told her son that his father and his "family" were not the nicest of people. They were cruel, and his father was one of the worst. She said that he did not have to be like that though.

She was dead the next day.

He left his home, with what money they had left ( they were actually a fairly well to do family). He went on a quest, and within a month, according to instructions from his mom, he found his father, Kadaj's, sword. Afterwards, he began training, and began to feel the powers within himself, and by the age of 18, was very skilled indeed.

Soon afterwards, he found what he had been searching for those six long years. The sword of Sephiroth. He now carries both, and suprisingly, fights for good. He wants to change his family's name for the better of the world.

From that time on however, he feels like he has to make up for everything they have done, and can be very distant....

Personality: Ryuu is both loud and unsually intelligent at the same time. Even though he may seem noisy and boastful all the time, his real personality is practically the opposite.

Bio: Ryuu was an orphaned child who lived on the streets. Through out his childhood, he played the life of a rouge. At the age of 6 he started to sneak foods and goods. At the age of 12 he started to steal accesaries and items. At the age of 14 he started to robbing banks. Although he was a lying thief, he never hurt any of his victims..well..at least not physically..At the age of 18, Ryuu was turned in to the police by one of his fellow companions and sent to prison. At the age of 20, Ryuu was freed for good behavior and sent to join Avalanche.

Jenova (just for the heck of it ^^; )

Name: Zack Strife
Age: 21
Gender: Male

Weapon(s):
- His father's sword. (from Advent Children) It's similar to his father's Buster Sword. But it has a small component inside the blade that hold another blade. Almost as big but not as strong.
- He also carries around his father's Buster Sword as well.

Appearence:
- Jacket/Coat(black) and pants(blue) ((Not the hat, or the straps on the wrists or legs. But yeah the entire costume............WITHOUT THE HAT!!!!!))
- Face (but picture it a littl older)
- Black fungerless gloves
- And a large leather holster/strap on his back (to hold his two swords)

Personality: Zack's pretty firendly around good people. He can usually tell who's good and bad, from someone's actions. He did kinda pic up a side of his father though. Which, at times, seems like the opposite of his normal personallity. But he is willing to meet a few new friends. But in a crisis he can become all buisness, and very seruious about saving his friends.

Bio: Growing up, Zack never talked to his father much. Cloud was always off on his own. But he did try to see Zack often. That's where Zack learned how to use his father's swords. And how he managed to carry them, and use them properly. His father did train him rigerously. But Zack didn't mind. Cloud hardly ever smiled. And when Zack's training went well, Cloud smirkced a bit. That was enoug to get Zack through all the intense training. Zack's also good with Chocobos and using a few materia. But he'd perfer to use his swords. He's also known Ryn Lockheart for a long time now. They've kinda been friends since they were little.

Because, dispite Cloud and Tifa's conflict (which caused them to seperate) their families still managed to remain friends. (((That's my story and I'm sticken' to it! XD ))) Now that Shinra's going back to it's evil ways, Ryn and Zack though it'd be cool to re-create their parents old group. Avalanche.

Bio:She was orphaned by her family at age 8, but she was raised by someone whos face she's never seen. but he trained her well in the art of swordfighting. She wanders around looking for the man that raised her. She trys to join SOLDIER to aid her search but was rejected & sent to join Avalanche insted.

Bio:

2 Years ago, he woke up on a hospital bed. He was inside a tent, white and small plus ready to be moved away. He walked outside and he saw that he was on a battlefield. Countless of bodies of humans and others were scattered all over. Amongst them walked docters, nurses and soldiers. When they noticed him, they moved towards him, gun raised, screaming: "GET BACK INSIDE." When they negotiated him, all he could say was: I don't know. He remembered nothing. After a while they released him back into civilisation. On his journeys later, he discovered that for each situation he acts differently. For each situation he becomes someone else. His intrests change and even the look in his eyes changed dramaticly if it ever had to come to it. It was as if he was a million persons trapped inside one body. Although he always remained himself, with the same memories, friends and enemies. His memory even started to return. Then, 1 Year ago, he dissapeared from the Earth. He himself woke up one morning, 85 days after he fell asleep, lying besides an elder man. He held a cigarrette in his hand and in the other he held a note.

"Join Avalanche.

He remembered nothing of what happened those 85 days. But flashes of it are coming back even now. And today he finally descided to join Avalanche forgood and not just take random assignments. And from the moment he woke up two years ago, he was forced to take a medicine that somehow kept him alive. When he woke up he looked in his 30s but now he appears to be in his 50s ... Could this be a side effect?

IC: Zack was walking through the streets of Midgar. It had gotten quite nice since Kadaj and the others came to town. Unfortunatly, Shinra's new curfew(sp?) and more strict laws and regulations have made living in Midgar a little harder. Like walking on Eggshells.

But Zack didn't care. He'd never do anything to upset the new Shinra. At least......................not yet. He smirked a bit thinking of making changes around here. He knew things were getting worse. But that didn't mean he couldn't enjoy putting a monkey wrench in Shinra's well oiled machine. And since he and Ryn had restarted their parents' old rebellion group, things were about to get a lot more interesting. He was on his way to meet Ryn now at the base, under the old stone monument in the centre of town. It was a perfect spot to hide out. In, near, plain sight. But...........he was running late. Although he didn't realize it yet. After all, he just found a new Materia from his father's old stache.

Teinkali watched from a distance as Zack walk through the city. It was odd, she felt the wind blow slightly playing with her hair and clackign the small beads in her hair together. Like a wind chime swinging in the air, they created a small tune. The tune stopped as the wind stopped and she reached over her back with her right arm pulling her left katana out of its sheath. Her eyes glared at Zack as he continued to walk before she snapped out of it eyes wide. He wasn't evil, he wasn't doing anything to the town, he probably wasn't even worth attacking. Sure his sword looked good, heavy to be exact, but it looked like he couldn't even weild it. Kali finally decided to follow him, anyone out this late was crazy, curfew would soon be reached and she would still be out and about, maybe he would be to. Another rebel of the new Shinra. Intresting this would become. She set off following Zack at a run but she kept her distance just incase he found out he was following and should decide to turn around and attack her she would be ready. She sheathed her katana as she ran to keep her balance straight, running at this speed without fighting with one katana in her hand would set her off balance making her running much harder. She slowed as she came closer to him, she came to walk allowing her self a breather still following him at staying near the building walls.

He whistled a bit as he walked along the edge of a two story building, watching a figure darting for the old stone monument. This guy was indeed interesting, as his resources had told him. He slowly dropped down from the building using an awning over the first story and slowly crept along the shadows...as he whispered the boys name, but to where he could not hear him.

"Zack Strife..."

He slowly turned the hilt of the sword at his side as he kept following him.

 

[Raynie]

Ryn was sitting lazily on the ground, poking at her boots lightly for no reason whatsoever. She stared thinking of Shinra, of Midgar, of everything really... Things were changing and not for the better. Though now that Zack and her had rebuild the Avalanche crew things might turn out for the better, so she hopes. 'Grr... He's late... He better have a good excuse that's for certain.', Ryn looked up for a moment and back down lost in thought as she had been these past few days.

Next to her lay her Arsenic Knuckles, and on her hands were the Premium Heart, a treasure very dear to her, never letting them out of her sight.

Kali stopped and slipped into the shadows, she had noticed Ryn not far away and didn't want to be noticed. But the main reason she had gone into the shadows was because of Daemon. He was even closer, and by the looks of it he looked like he could tear her limb from limb. She wasn't wishing for death tonight. She crouched in the shadows to watch from there. A death wish tonight would be a bad one. She looked at the sky for a moment hoping to catch a glimpse of the moon but clouds blocked it out. Well that offered no help to her. She turned her attention back to Ryn, Zack, and Daemon. She would esspeccially keep her eye on Daemon, he seemed the strongest out of all the three she had seen tonight.

Zack looked up and saw Ryn. He said to her, "Hey Ryn. What's up?" He asked as he took in front of her.

He haddn't noticed the two other people that had been spying on him and Ryn. But for some reason he did feel odd. Almost like he was being watched.

Personality: He may be imposing, but he is actually a friendly person. He helps those who need it, and is often in the right place at the right time.
Bio: Jet has been brought up to defend himself, and often is in a fight that isn't his own. His parents were killed by Sephiroth, and he now wants revenge on the creator of it. He heard that someone has Jenova, and is using it wrongly, so he wishes to help anyway he can.

Ryn looked up at Zack, quickly standing up a little clumsily before regaining her posture. "Hey... So you finally decided to show up, huh?!" she said, smacking him behind his head in one quick swipe of her left hand. "You better have a good excuse for being late." Ryn said with a small frown on her face.

 

[Zacdos]

"Hey! What's with you? I wasn't that late!" Zack said in defence. "I was just poking around my dad's stuff while he was off on a errand out of town. Alright?" He said rubbing where Ryn hit him. "Heh, can we just start the first meeting?" He smiled a bit as he motioned towards the monument. "I wish more people joined. So far we only have those other three. But we're going to need more if we want to.........." Zack looked around and checked for gaurds and said quietly, "Stop Shinra." Then he spoke normally, "Hey, Ryn. Did you hear about Shinra's energy drain program? I just heard from a friend of mine. He said at this rate, the planet's doomed in about six months or so."

 

[Chaotic Dreams]

Jet walked up to a group of people slowly and quietly. He tapped one of the shoulder and whispered, "Your certainly pushing this new curfew, aren't you? Or are you a 'rebel'?" He grinned, waiting for a response.

 

[Raynie]

"Hmph, you are late and you know it." Ryn replied as she crossed her arms, shifting her weight from her left foot to her right slowly. "Hn, yeah i've heard. *sigh* We need to really get this up and working, Avalanche i mean. I... I don't want to sound pessimistic, but with only three... I doubt we'll get anything done." she said with a slightly sad tone in her voice.

 

[Zacdos]

Zack smiled, trying to cheer Ryn up, "Don't worry. We'll get more people-" He stopped when he felt a tap on his shoulder. He turned around to see someone, "Uh!" He really hoped this person wasn't a cop. Enforcing the curfew. He coughed a bit and asked, "Who's asking?"
