They don't exist. Nothing logical applies to them. Sure they act like they have emotions, Axel felt "love" for Roxas in a way, but he doesn't have a Heart. Part of the reason for how they die. They fade into nothingness.
Does Anyone believe that Roxas does have a heart?

I think the reason why they fade into nothingness is because they do not really exist, nor was they supposed to exist. The soul is the only thing that keeps their body in realm of the living. If you destroy the link that keeps a nobody present they dissappear and become nothing.
Roxas doesn't have a heart. Then again, maybe he does, because he's Sora's nobody, he cared for his friends in Twilight Town and all, perhaps it's just his imagination, because after all, he was a part of the Organization...it's really confusing me. XD

im not saying he wasnt connected to sora, he was through the heart. the backside of soras heart isnt his soul. its part of his heart
it is said in the game...nobody was searching for a heart...and they wish to be whole...if a nobody has a heart...so that mean they're not nobody...for the one that make sora cry when he leave the twilight town...probably it's about roxas' MEMORY bout his friends in twilight town...once again...nobody have no heart...the organization too...they act like they have a heart...because they remember what it like...for xemnas

Nobodies are searching for a heart . Maybe when sora left twilight town Roxas made sora cry because him and sora have the same heart,so Roxas found his heart . I could be overlooking something with that though.
Well for some reason Roxas did not really care about the goal of the organization. Roxas really thought that he had a heart. He thought that he was a real person. But soon we realised that Roxas is just a nobody, a being that lacks a heart. Sora teared up because Sora/Roxas saw Hayner, Olette and Pence. Deep inside Sora, Roxas's feelings were able to show. Roxas cried because he figured out that the friends that he thought he knew was really not his friends at all. That emotion in turn effected Sora. Roxas did not care if he had a heart, as long as he had feelings, that is the only thing that mattered to Roxas.

I'm not saying Roxas has a heart. I'm saying he used Sora's. I don't know how to describe what I'm thinking. He didn't really show or act like he had much emotion. He was pretty quiet the entire time. I think at the beginning they do say that Roxas is connected to Sora's heart. That's the reason he has no memory of the Org I think....Anyways, I'm saying he did not have a heart in his body but still used Sora's to care about people. Sora was experiencing everything Roxas was. I think it was more Sora caring for them than Roxas, but Roxas is Sora. Aren't memories stored in the heart?.....OW! My brain hurts haha.

Whoa I didn't expect to get some many replies... but now that I think about it I do believe that Roxas and Sora shared a heart. But for some reason I still can't get passed the idea of Roxas having NO heart. At all. Maybe it's because I just really want him to have one. For some reason I kinda wish that Roxas wasn't Sora's other half. But that's just my opinion! Please don't say I'm stupid.
Roxas and Namine are special Nobodies, they both have some kind of anomaly, but Namine is more special then Roxas. Coz none of any Ansem's Reports tells us if they really had hearts before, we'll never know, but the fact is Nobodies don't have heart but strong Nobodies pretended to have one.
