Disney castle?

Why on kingdom hearts one, did it show disney castle but you could never get to it.

yes you can't get to it. you know it's there is all. in Final Mix you can get to it apparently. it was mostly just to tease us i believe that and show us it is there it does exist.

We already know it's there because it is next to Traverse Town only it's shaded. Also Donald and Goofy can't let on where they came from. So that's why you can't get to DC

^ Probably because by KH2 sora found out that Donald & Goofy work for King Mickey, at DC.

In Kingdom Hearts 2 they probly new that they could fully trust Sora and besides the castle was under attack they were safe and no need to go there. It was a teaser though. I think that was the point

whe matter of why you could not go to DC in KH1 i think is because it was not time to go there and the reason they whent ther in KH2 is because the queen summond them like goofy said in the game "did you summon us" not exact words :blush:

The gummi ship most likley had it programed in it already because that's where Donald and Goofy are from. Most likely you didn't need to go in there because Melificent and Pete hadn't discovered the door to Timeless River and therefor the CornerStone Of Light prevented darkness from entering the castle.
