Loads of games have crossed platforms before, but not usually across 4, and even then to make a game on mobile that most likely a lot of people wont be able to get particularly one with a significant storyline, so in this particular case I think I'm entitled to be a little pissed at Disney

Not really. The KH Mobile Disney released without Square having to do with it a few years ago had only existing characters, but wasn't canon in the least.
