I have much to show you about the simplicity of just singling out the depth my son.

Let the lightsource around the singled out focal point, i'd personally darken/burn the area around, distribute some color and g-maps. Adding effects, you could do that, but depends on the actual image, i'd aim for vibrant lights. Different font or none at all.

yeah but don't try a crappy vignette.
don't get a big round soft black brush and hit the edges, it looks like poop

just burn that fucker and use the desaturate sponge if you need to
