Don't get me wrong I love this game. But I kind of miss the sense of freedom in the worlds in the first game. Each world seemed huge. There were so many hidden places to explore. Especially Traverse Town. After getting glide or high jump, you can jump onto roofs and fight heartless in new areas. It really felt like you could go anywhere and do anything. Kh2's worlds are a lot smaller and you can't really explore. I'd see a ledge and I'd be like "hmmmm, wonder what's up here..." and to my disappointment, Sora won't even grab the ledge and climb up.
Kh2 seems more geared towards the battles. I love what they've done with the battle system. Fighting is just so fun with the drives and the reaction commands, and Sora's newfound agility.
It's like kh1 -> explore worlds
Kh2 -> beat the crap out of the bad guys
Anyone else agree?

Yea I can't stress how much more I like fighting in this game than kh1. Battle system rocks! I barely ever run from battles anymore.

the battle system is the most amazing astuff ever, but uve got a major point with the worlds. They may seem huge, but the exploring is so linear. Its isnt like Kh1 where you went back and forth to places in the owrld that u have been before to solve something or get something that u didnt notice. For example, Alice in Wonderland,in the room where u could turn small, there was so many things in that room to get

Substance = something that makes you want to keep playing, i.e. the battle system is pathetically boring and repetitive, the plot is pretty weak and everything is too damn easy

basically, what you are experiencing is a lack of substance from the plotline. an underdeveloped and/or underemphasized story leaves you desiring more than what the game provides. have a nice 4 years waiting for kingdom hearts 3.

the only part of the story that was bad was that they didn't flesh out the disney characters worlds or stories enough. you just blow right through them

thats becuase your suppose to take your time with them and not just go threw them
how can you take your time if they tell you exactly what to do and don't let you do anything else. they don't allow errors
