Sports ► Any hockey fans out there?

Hey! Just wondering if there are any KH fans that enjoy hockey as much as I do? I've played it since I was a little kid and can't get enough of it.

What's your favorite medium of it? Playing? Watching? Reading? Video games?

Favorite team? Player? Least favorites?

Any good memories?

I enjoy watching hockey. I don't really follow the professional teams or players that closely, but I was rooting for the Wild this past season! What I really like to do is actually physically GO to hockey games. They're probably the most fun sport to watch in my opinion. Way more fast paced than say football or baseball and more violent than basketball or soccer. Although soccer, from what I understand can get pretty violent. I'm going to try and make it to more hockey games for my university.

I enjoy watching hockey but one of the reasons I have a little trouble watching it is because of all the fighting there is? I mean come on this is a supposed to be a sport not fake wrestling for crying out loud!

The Wild are certainly improving. I have high expectations for them this coming year. In 2010 I predicted they would win the Cup by 2016 so maybe I'll be right?

And where do you go to school?

I go to University of Wisconsin - Stout so it's not like sports are a big deal there. I don't go to the U of M in TC or Duluth so I don't get to go to those D1 games. I wish I could though!

Well any hockey as long as its pretty good competition level is enjoyable!

I'm pretty much with you here.

I'm actually not a huge sports fan, but if there was any sport I could get into it'd definitely be hockey. While I also don't really follow it, I love going to hockey games and watching them (I wish my school had hockey actually). As a kid I always loved The Mighty Ducks movies with Emilio Estevez, which is what I think may have triggered some of my interest for it.

I am a die hard hockey fan. I live and die with the Washington Capitals. I was so disappointed when they didn't make the playoffs last year. They hired a new coach this year, so I really hope that this will help them get back to the top of the Eastern Conference.

Ya it's always disappointing when your team can't even make the playoffs...
I'm a Sabres fan so, I know the feeling and will continue to experience it for at least a few more years during rebuilding.

I love watching a good hockey game. I always root for the home teams whenever I move from place to place, so for the last twelve years, I've been a Tampa Bay Lightning fan. I recently went to the fan fest a couple of weeks ago where we were able to watch the Lightning play a practice game over in the refurbished stadium. 'Twas a fun time.
