About playable character in KH2

Of the following playable characters, when will and how can you play as in KH2?

as King Mickey?

as Riku?

Oh man i never thought of that b4 but good question.

You can play king Mickey when you fight in certain boss battles and when Sora dies, choose the second option says I won't give up and you play as him but you can't defeat the boss. However, you have to repeatedly press the triangle button to revive Sora back in order to beat the boss.

You can play Riku when you fought Xemnas in the final battle....one part where Sora will get caught by Xemnas' attacks, you will play as Riku to rescue him.

You also get to play as roxas.

Ya we already know that you can play as roxas cause he's like the tutorial person.

yep as Xigbar has said king micky is playable during boss battles that are not a gauge battle (luxord, shanyu etc.)

and riku's part is playable for the overall of about 15 seconds

What do you mean by a "gauge battle?"

yea also when you play as riku your menu is all twilite themed. there is a light wing and a dark wing on each side of the menu and etc...but you dont get your own main health icon like sora and mickey. your health is sitll in the allie section.

I think it sucks that u only play with Riku for about, 15 secs....T-T

if you have seen the luxord battle then that would be a good example of a gauge battle
