A few forum statisics which may be of interest

Just a few calculations I've done to entertain myself. At the time I took the stats down, I got the answers:

Average of 3.9 threads per member.

Average of 109.5 posts per member.

Average of 27.9 posts per thread.

Anybody have any thoughts on those?

Wow. That's a lot lower than I thought it'd be. I guess we have a lot of newbies joining and not posting enough to keep the averages up.

Although, considering the number of users we have, I guess it's not too bad. Although that depends on how many you tested.

I think that that is something the mods should handle. I say that all the inactive accounts that have been so for over 8 months should be deleted, especially those who haven't logged in in a long time, and those with very low post count.

I took the numbers for total forum posts, total number of members and total number of threads, so the stats incorperate everybody and every section on the forum.

This one is still the same, too.

So people are posting less. We'll ahve to fix that =)

There are those people who also can't post more than 20 times because they either lose the URL, Get bored, or just attacked because they did something retarded.

At any rate, I think as well it is something the Mods should handle. I would say more along the lines of if they don't log in for more than 200 days. Some people can take a break for a couple of months...

Well I think that the problem is when people make accounts to solely play the rpg and it makes no difference if we set a min post count to play it because then they will spam until they get there so in reality the good members will just have to keep the posting up

UPDATE TIME!
Average number of posts per person: 158.3
This has increased from 107.9, a great increase.

Average number of threads created per person: 3.8
Was 3.9, Not much change then.

Average number of posts per thread: 28
Used to be 27.9. Close enough.

Seems people are just posting more, which is good.
