Ok, I know it's for the D.S. but now there's a thing about a DSi bundle with the game apparently. So is it for DSi or DS?

It's for both, the DS and DSi both play the same games.
It's for the DS, but all DS games are compatible for the DSi, so it will be playable for both. As far as anyone knows, the DSi bundle is Japan-exclusive (especially since the DSi itself hasn't been released in the NA/PAL regions yet.) We'll have to wait and see. But yes, the game itself is playable on any old DS.
