New merchandise samples for the series are few and far between, but in those special instance when they are made, they never cease to amaze and that certainly is the case for this one. 

General Manager of the Square Enix Merchandising Division, Hidemi Matsuzuka, just showed off brand new phone charms featuring none other than Sora, Riku, Kairi, Cloud, Donald and Goofy from the original Kingdom Hearts!

As these are only product samples and have yet to be approved and mass-produced for retail, there are no further details. However, when such information has surfaced, you can be sure there will be multiple options for you to order from.

Perhaps! Cloud at least we haven't seen much of, but I feel that it is very odd for them to include yet another Sora, especially when they had recently released another batch of keychains with the very same artwork.

I like the Cloud one, Sora's eyes are creepy.
I just ordered like 4 keychains off eBay yesterday (Kingdom Key, Sora Crown, Roxas "X", Hylian Crest), I don't have room for more.

I like the play on the stain-glass heart stations, but these look a little too bulky/cheesy for me (even if they're not official yet).

I'm still eyeing those keyblade keychains.

Since it is a phone charm I'd probably just put it on my 3DS or PSP...

As for these keychains, Sora's is so smiley while Cloud's looks bad ass.

Sigh...seeing these keychains only reminds me of how SE merchandise is only affected by fanservice Seeing them use Sora (KH's posterchild) yet again, in one of the same poses we always see him in, and Cloud, a character that is very popular but contributes little to the story of KH, over other characters that have no merchandise out there (like TAV or even Kairi).

Oh well, we'll just have to wait...some more.
