Someone told me it was February 16th (or was it 17th?)
but I haven't seen anything official myself that confirms
this, but I don't keep up with the updates so I possibly
missed when it was announced.

There isn't an official date. KHU and apparently some other sites started saying it was February 19th, but, of course, there has been no official date, so it was merely speculation and nothing more.

I'm actually kinda scared of the next update/ the release, I liked the JF pics and status bars, particularly because roxas looked creepishly mature. But I'm also worried about what else will be changed in the meantime...
Like the possable removal or change in rising/falling chairs, status menus, etc. It seems to change each time its presented. BUT I'm sure it will be for the better.

two random thoughts.

1. perhaps when riku put his blindfold on his body doesnt lie i guess you could say and he turns back into the boy who for whatever reason has grey hair.

2. also in contrast with the pictures of Roxas, Xion and Axel (in that order) sitting on the tree, and then Kairi, Sora and Riku (in that order) is their some significance to xion being in the middle where sora sits?

Xion's Name

Well i was thinking about an anogram for Xion and 2 came to mind

1. Oni (Onee) Which means elder sister in japanese

2. Oni- Which in Ancient japan was a monster and was a fairytale told to kidsD:<

So maybe this is important to Xion because she could be Namine's or Kairi's "sister"( not blood sister but in a Heartless/ nobody way)

1. If you check the new trailers bittermeats posted then you'll see that the blindfold in fact does transform him from Riku back to Xehanort.

2. Come to think of it this might have some significance but who knows.
