I'm not one to dump my problems on other people but I'm really at a loss on this one.
I got into a relationship with this girl in school like two weeks ago, everything has been going pretty smooth except for once thing. One of her "friends", by the way I've hated him for 2 years now, has been touching her in places he aught not to, its not sexual harassment or anything but still I haven't been doing those things and yet she lets her "friend" do it and not her boyfriend? HUH? so I talked to her about it and she told me not to worry that she'll tell him to stop. Well its been four days since she "told" him and nothing has changed. I'm not sure if this is just what Americans do, I'm sorry not to sound ignorant or anything but I've lived in the states for a while but I still hold on to my European morals. All I can say is that in the country I come from he'd get his teeth knocked out and that'd be the end of it, but in the US I'd be a sent to a correctional facility and I don't really wan that. My girlfriend also doesn't want me to step in and impose my authority because he's her friend. He's really stepping on my toes but I can't really fight back. Oh yeah I don't think I mentioned that I was diagnosed with clinical depression about three months ago so thats not helping much either. I really like this girl and I hope this relationship will last but this guy has to stop cuz he's messing with my cultural boundaries and I can't take much more.
So any words of wisdom. Any helpful advice? cuz I could really use it right now.
