I think riku accidenty got hit by a red nocturne in the eye so hes wearing it for eye protection. So in deep dive.... He said OMG its time for it to come off finally so he made it look all dramatic like.

I think it has something to do with The LIght. The Brightness. I don't know what you call it. The opposite of the Darkness.
