You cant compare these characters,due to the fact that Sephiroth has nothing to do with the storyline.

Yeah, that and the game's too easy we don't know how strong Saix really is, and Sephiroth is so over powered, so blegh to him too. Though Crisis Core might be the first time we actually see him in actual non-overpowered action. Saix will forever be a mystery though.

Yeah, Saix was kinda introduced and thrown away, he had no character build up whatsoever, that what I hated about kh2. There are badass characters like Xaldin, Xigbar, and Saix, they have awsome weapons, and are really cool, but they have like 2 lines and you fight them once and they are gone.

Marluxia would defiantly win, I would give reasons but I'm too tired.
