Now that you mention it... I thought Nomura said it is part of TT but I can't find the source.
I guess I just assumed it because the sunset makes it look like it's part of TT and Merlin takes a break and goes to the Bistro when Kairi and Lea are still training :LOL: . But as he can hop through worlds, that proves nothing.
