What is rep power?

ya. i'm still a noob and i don't get the rep power thing under the avatars. I seem to have a 1 beside a green rectangle. I've also seen 0 beside white rectangles. can any one tell me how we get these different things.

If you post something helpful, or nice, or something interesting that someone likes, sometimes that person will click the 'Add to *so and so's name*'s Reputation'. Basically, it shows what other people on the board think of you. If you want to see whom has given you rep points click on 'User CP'.

haha i put the same question in another thread awhile ago. same answers i got but i got more. green is a good thing red is a bad thing. green: someone agrees with u.
