I think both Treasure Planet and The Black Cauldron will appear in KH eventually despite being bombs. It may take a while and they may only appear in side games instead of the main numbered titles on the home console, but if Hunchback can appear, anything can really. Disney has tried to hide Hunchback away more for it being "darker" in retrospect than they want to be known for and yet it appeared in KH.

THoND was a hit...

Yeah, some pearl-clutching weirdos criticized it to hell (the only fair criticism the movie deserved was the one made by Hugo's descendants, but then again, when has Disney ever been faithful to the source material of a fairytale or historical event? Almost never.), but it was still a hit that raked in that sweet, sweet moola.

I know Hunchback was a hit... I thought I was being clear that it's been given the cold shoulder for years by Disney for its substance?

Weren't there traces of Treasure Planet in DDD? At the very least, they thought about including it.
I think Moana and Treasure Planet would be great games for a "Find Sora" plot or a "Sora trying to get back home" plot.

I need to rewatch Black Cauldron =, but I'm sure they'll find a way to make it fit in the "new phase". Cause, why not.

They had at least started modeling areas for it in KH3D, but nothing major. It was just a skeleton of what could have been.

Ah, gotcha, like Pocahontas.

Considering Treasure Planet is basically an animated space opera, I wonder how the setting would be. It’s a cartoon with many worlds of its own, technically speaking. Will it just be on the ship, like Deep Space?

Considering how big the worlds were in KH3 I think we could explore quite a few of the films locations beyond just the ship. Especially if it's used in a title for the PS5.

No, because Disney wants to forget this movie. They only want to push the big money makers like Frozen, Toy Story, and Tangled.
