The earth in crisis
The time is modern day. Something terrible has happened. The things most thought to be fictional or not real have appeared, and with a vengeance. They are mobilizing against the humans, ready to kill everything in their path. This has caused all of the races and the religions of the world to forget their differences(at least for a while).The convergence
The cryptids of the world have never much liked the humans, but now the cryptids have banded together. Many believe that the humans constant expansion has endangered their existence, and have therefore gathered their numbers and are ready to attack. They have formed a group called, "The convergence", who are bent on destroying humanity. The first attack was an assault on Washignton D.C in the United States. Afterwards, the rest of the worlds capitols were ransacked, or wiped off the map. Most managed to get away, but nobody believed them when they told their story. Then, slowly, as more and more towns and villages were attacked, people began to believe. The United Nations, everyone in full agreement, has decided to combine the worlds forces in order to combat the threat.Species
