The first try..I don't know why people have so much trouble beating him.

What form is the best to use against Xaldin?
I heard Wisdom is nice to use when Xal goes into his Dragon Form
and shoots wind-blasts from afar.

mickey saved me lowered his hp to one killed him with one hit after micky saved me. mickey is useful for destroying hp but you have to not get hit.

Xaldin was a bugger.. Heck it was a close battle.. That is the only time I've had Mickeys help in the game, It was impossible to beat Xaldin even with Mickey.. I had to heal Sora, It was so close.. I almost died before I healed Sora.. Luckily I only just done it..

Drived straight into Valor.. Phailed with Valor because I couldn't catch him so I just reverted back so I could use cure.. In the end it was a close battle.. That's the only battle in KH2 I've ever had an adrenalhine rush in >_<

That's exactly why I found it best to use Wisdom against Xaldin. At first I was gonna try Valor, but I realized how dangerous he is at close range, so I tossed Goofy out of my party and called in Donald(thank god for mid-battle party editing.)

I relied heavily on the reaction command in this battle as it inflicted a good amount of damage each time I used it. Other than that I just made sure everyone was healthy.

I think wisdom form is good too as you can dodge alot of the attacks. I hate that attack where he fly's around for few secs and then does that massive beam... luckily I realised that REFLECT just acted as a shield against it and ended up saving alot of my HP
