Riku sat on the beach at sun set, the wind blowing in his hair. Him and his friends Sora and Kairi had been making a raft so they could escape their island home and discover new lands. Tomorrow was the day they would leave, or so they would think.

Sora

Sora walked up and sat on the tree next to Riku "Are you SURE there are other worlds out there?..." he queried skeptically as he fidgited with the toy sword in his hands. "I mean, I hope so, but..."

 

[Doctor Graybles]

Riku

Riku turned to Sora and said "Knucklehead of course there's other worlds out there", Riku jumped off the tree and pulled out his wood sword "Come on Sora let's fight".

Sora pushed himself off the smooth trunk and took fighting stance. "Heh. 'Kay!" he said with a smile.

Riku

Riku threw his sword up into the and then caught it, he then took a few steps forward. "You go first this time" Riku told Sora, as he got into his battle stance.

Sora

"Hyaaaaah!!!" Sora grunted as he lunged for his old friend, his sword coming down toward Riku in a fluid motion.

Riku

Riku easily rolled out of the way of Sora's attack and jumped up, slashing at his back.

Wakka

Wakka and Tidus were sitting at the docks... then in the corner of his eye he saw a flicker of movement. "Looks like Sora and Riku are at it again ya?"

Sora

Sora winced at the blow of the wooden sword, but quickly got to his feet and proceeded to lock blades with his old friend.

"I guess I'm a little rusty, huh?"
