um, there was a thread about this...in fact i think it's a sticky.......

square announced on the page that it was rated E for Everyone

and i'm sure they know what their own game is rated, so it must be an error on the ESRB webpage.

It's been rated T for Teen because of the darker storyline, and the violence is a bit more elaborate. Plus, I hear there's some...well, crude language in it.
It won't. The ESRB would have listed Mild Language or Language in the game's description if it did.

And it's not like there's some invisible force keeping you from playing a T game if you're not a teenager. I first played FF7 when I was 11, and my eyes didn't explode or anything like that.

lol, in my house i am allowed to buy anything, lol, except porn. i am allowed to watch any type of movie i want even a 18, allowed to buy 18 games, but my mum comes along and says yes, meh, the age rating doesn't bother me, who cares about the age rating, has that stopped anyone buying the games, or watching movies that aren't their age? nope they haven't

It won't be. That's a mistake. SE said so. I agree with them, and them alone.

The only mature game I have is splintercell 3, and my parents don't even know it yet. Still, it stinks that Kh2 is rated T because a lot of die hard young gamers won't be able to play. They should make it E10+

Also, I think this is the 1st disney game with a T rating. Are there any others?

Yup. The Incredibles is rated T.

((Parents letting there kids play higher rated games is NO sign of irresponsibility. It depends on if the parents think the child is mature enough. When some kids see M rated games, they think that stuff is O.K., but others know it's JUST A GAME. Parents determine the maturness of the kid.))

Correction: That's the way it's supposed to be. That's not usually how things tend to work out, unfortunately.

Yeah, I really do think it should be rated E , eventhough the Teen rating doesn't effect me. I'm 13 anyway, and my parents don't really care about the ratings on theses kind of things, it's a game afterall. But just a little wine and rum isn't at all bad in my opinion so...yeah.
It's rated E10+, not Teen.
