Sora's parents

Have you guys ever wondered about Sora's parents?? I mean they do get mentioned in BBS when Terra talks to little Riku, Sora says that they were waiting for his dad to come and pick them up but they never show him.

Also in KH1, after you finish Kairi's errands and before the storm, there is a cutscene where it shows Sora laying on his bed thinking bout the raft; then all of a sudden you hear a grown woman's voice that says "Sora, dinner's ready!" Who can that be? Is it Sora's mom? Do Sora's parents live on the island too? Maybe Nomura didnt plan about adding his parents to the series...yet.

Nomura doesn't really care about parents. He's more interested in friendship and pseudo-familial relationships; things that deal with the heart more than blood.

We will probably never see Sora or Riku's parents only because they don't matter in the long-run.

That wouldn't really serve much purpose to the story, though. Plot elements are there to develop certain themes of the story, such as the relation between strength and friendship.

Nomura stated in an interview months ago that he'd never cover the Keyblade War as a game.

As the other half of Ventus' heart, Vanitas is connected to Ven. When Ven connects his heart to Sora's, Vanitas also ends up connecting to Sora.

When Ven's fractured Heart connected to Sora's newborn Heart at the beginning of BBS, Vanitas' Heart was also connected and took on the features of Sora.
