If I didn't know the context of that sentence, I’d have concerns. But yes, I am ready to see Shadow’s tragic backstory in glorious movie form.

I still can't believe that Gerald Robotnik is alive in this series. Talk about a plot twist. I’m looking forward to seeing where this movie goes

Very strange but cool green hill remix there, I don't think I've heard one like that before. Part of me is slightly worried we won't actually get to hear live and learn, and just get this little motif, but hopefully they heard the criticism and saw the massive appeal it has based off the last teaser.

Movie looks good. As a massive Sonic fan I've got a few complaints and nitpicks about the trailer but overall it really looks solid.

Really hope they give him a gun at some point though...

My only complaint is Gerald being as goofy as his grandson.

Oh my god, I didn't even catch him calling Gerald "papa". That would make Maria his sister instead of his cousin? And that would explain him being alive in the first place??

Why would they do that.

Ehhh, some people call their grandpas pa, pap, etc. I'll wait until I know more.

In the Spanish dub trailer, he calls him what sounds like either "papá" or "papi" (both ways of saying "dad" or "daddy"; "grandfather" would have been abuelo).

Conversely, the French subtitled trailer has him say "grand-papy".

*I'm not fluent in either language so take these with a grain of salt.
