well he didnt, but he was the actual chosen one. sora got it instead. when they met, riku got the keyblade back until he devoted himself to the darkness, which keyblade permantly became sora's.

the reason why he got two keyblades is unknown. some people say that he got it from namine because she has the ability to transform items. but can see that bhk is a beginner like sora in kh
