Time to update.
Chapter Chapter Chapter: Amtrak Is For Lovers (Houston Calls)
Night time came. The sun had set quietly as the lights brightened the beaches of Destiny Islands. Everyone gathered around. Tables set up, balloons tied to trees, torches lit on fire, and the fireflies glowing in the night. Sora, Krojee, Taylor, Kat, Myra (Who is currently glomping Kaze), Kaze (Who is currently being glomped by Myra), and Aozora were talking with Namine (Who is currently glomping Kaze) who Kaze insisted she be invited as well. Namine also brough a new kid. Silver was his name and so was his hair, except for the tips which were a firery red. But like the others, they were oddly short, except for Kat, who was an inch taller than everyone else.
Wakka and Lulu were having a little fun with Vidina. They were still babying him, but to a point where it's dignified. Lulu's smile and Wakka's proud laughter made Gerard smile. They're so happy together... But Wakka didn't have Sy in his way, he rolled his eyes.
Piku and Amme watched as they talked in their little clique. "Alright, I want to talk to, but we're security for the party. We have to make sure nothing goes wrong," Piku said folding her arms.
"WHAT?! I didn't hear anything about security!" Amme said angrily.
"You must haven't got the memo!"
"WHAT MEMO!?"
"THE MEMO! Y'KNOW! LIKE THE MOVIE! FINDING MEMO!" Piku said trying to explain to Amme, who just stared at her and shook her head in disbelief. Gerard watched from the beach as everyone gathered. Alright. Now, I'm going to propose. I will... I will propose. Without falling down. I hope. Stupid idiot Sy with his "OOOH! LOOK AT ME AND MY SEXY HAIR!" Did I just think his hair was sexy? thought to himself. He snapped out of it and took a step forward, but he fell over.
"Where do you think you're going?" Yuna asked smiling provacatively (as always).
"Umm... I wanna talk to Rikku,"
"Not until you escort me to the party," Yuna smiled. She grabbed his arm and walked forward.
"And me," Asuka said grabbing his other arm. Great. She'll totally marry me now. I have a girl on each of my arms. Wonderful, he thought. He gave in and took them to the party. Luckily, Rikku hadn't shown up yet. Niether had Sy. Sy better get me some of that damn pizza, Gerard thought to himself. They mingled around as Pickle and Amme followed them making sure they don't do anything unwanted.
The time arrived. Rikku and Sy arrived hand in hand. Gerard crushed the glass he held in his hand as he laid eyes on them together. He was on his last straw but remained calm. Yuna and Asuka didn't notice Gerard slip away from them, but ignored the fact he wasn't there. Sy let Rikku go on and play with Wakka, Lulu, and Vidina. Sy made his way to Asuka and Yuna. He decided he would humor them. "Hello ladies," he said kissing each of them on the hand.
"Hello, Sy," Yuna feigned a smile. "You're looking better than ever,"
"Thank you," he smiled. "I don't believe we've been properly introduced," Sy said looking at Asuka.
"I'm Asuka. You must be the infamous 'The One He Fears,'" she quietly mocked.
"Yes, that was me. But alas, it's just Sy now. Where are you from?"
"Well, I'm not exactly an old friend. I just met Yuna three months ago, but we hit it off. Rikku's been nice to me too. Are you two... Together?" Asuka asked curiously.
"Well, now that I'm back, I really want it to be that way. I don't even care about Gerard anymore. But what I've heard, you two have 'cared' quite a bit for him," Sy joked.
"He's a friend. Just a friend," Yuna smiled.
"That's not what I've heard," Sy pushed.
"Well, you've must've been talking to Piku or Amme because we think that Gerard and Rikku make a better couple," Asuka winked.
"Oh really," Sy said. Gerard slid over to Piku and Amme.
"PSST!" Gerard psst(ed). Piku and Amme stared back at the crab outfit Gerard had worn to disguise himself from Sy and the others.
"What do you want you mun?" Amme asked.
"Look. I need you guys to make his life a living hell. Please?"
"No," Piku said. "We've got our hands full making your life a living hell," Piku said proudly. Gerard had a smile across his face.
"I've got Pickle Chips," he smiled. Piku's smirk broke.
"Throw in a bag for Amme and we're in,"
