I'm new and I'm pretty interested in the RPG forum but not sure how to go about it.

If anyone can help me with joining an RPG or just some info on how it works would be greatly appreciated.

First off, it is called RP (Role-PLay), not RPG (Role-playing game, ie. The RPG inferno)

Basically all you do is make up a character using the template that the maker of the RP gives you, and ask to join

If they let you, then you just go along with the story, acting as your character, and making up different things to happen, it's not reall that hard

And secondly, don't double post, just wait for someone to see your thread
