I picked this up yesterday, volume 1 of 4 to be released. Mainly because it's draw by the Death Note guy but it's pretty good in it's own right.
Has anyone else read this or known any nice trivia?

I read this series. It got a tad bit boring by the second volume, so I skimmed through until the spanish dude comes in. Then the level of bad ass is increased enough to keep me interested. Obata's art is great as always. The writing is a bit lacking, though. Lots of nudity in this, btw (from both genders).

Naked 15 year old boy sprawling though the first chapter. I thought it was pretty good and I'll probably pick up consequent volumes when they're released.
And yes, I think it is a Blue Dragon spin off. Obata's art it better than Toriyama's, though. I think he draws like a douche.
