Chapter 1
Terra awoke in her tiny bedroom. She sat up and examined her room.
Terra had short blonde hair (recently cut) that was turning redder every day like her mother. She had a mix between a blue and green eye color.
She had been sleeping on a queen-sized bed. Her sheat was white with tiny, smaller than a penny, polka-dots. Her blanket was purple. Terra's favorite color. She jumped off her bed and examined the rest of her room.
She had a light brown wooden dresser. On it, was a TV, Gamecube, and Gamecube games. Such as Sonic games, Animal Crossing, Billy Hatcher and the Giant Egg, and Mario Party 5. Terra turned on the TV and turned it to the news.
She opened some of her drawers of her dresser and grabbed her uniform for a middle school called Fees.
Terra was in sixth grade and was in her second quarter of the school year. They had a uniform. She had to wear a plaid blue skirt. She had to wear an even darker shade of blue stockings with a white blouse (Think of Kairi's uniform in KH2).
Terra changed into her uniform, listening to the news. She threw her large green T-shirt and sweat pants that had monkeys on them into her laundry basket.
Terra sat on her bed, watching the news while putting her black Converse on. Once she was done. she watched the rest of the news.
"In other words, this morning it appears to be raining. Already at 6:30!!" the news anounced. Terra heard thunder and saw a flash of lightning. "And not just raining folks. But it has been confirmed to be a thunder storm!"
"No duh, Sherlock," Terra said quietly to the TV.
The news continued, "But don't worry folks, tomorrow is going to be sunny all day! And on Wednesday, it'll be a little cloudy. And that's it for today. And GOOD MORNING ARIZONA!!!!!!!!!!"
Terra turned off the TV. "Has it ever come to mind that 95% of the time you're WRONG when it comes to weather news?!" she screamed at the TV. But all of a sudden, there was a noise. Not the thunder. But a snoring type sound. She put her ear to the west wall. The snoring grew louder. "Oh my God!"
It was Terra's twin sister, Lilly snoring. They looked exactly alike (well, no duh!) but they behaved different. Terra got A's in everything, was in three sport teams, volleyball, swimming, and gymnastics. And she was in three clubs. A book club (Guardians of Ga'Hoole), a magic club (you know...MAGIC TRICKS!!), and was in an owl club where they basically learn about owls. She spent her free time studying. She only watched about 2 hours of TV each day (besides movies).
While Lilly was totally diferent. She didn't really study much like Terra. If fact, she didn't study at all! The highest grade she's ever gotten was a D...No sport teams or clubs were in her life. She spent her free time watching TV or playing video games.
In their writing class, they're spending all year writing their own books. To see how long it takes to write an actual book. And the best book got to be actually published. Terra's subject was Lilly. Her book was called, "My Evil Twin and Me," (like the fanfic! lol). So far, it's been doing pretty good. Terra's been taking notes on Lilly secretively.
Terra quickly grabbed a notebook from a wooden bookshelf and wrote, "The angelic daughter was awoken by the monster's roar that people dare to call it my sister's snores," basically writing, "Lilly snores."
She put her notebook in her backpack and exited her room and headed to the bathroom. There, she brushed her hair and entered the kitchen. Where her Grandparents sat eating a bagel and reading the newspaper.
"Hi, Grandma, Grandpa!" Terra greeted sweetly, sitting at the table.
Her grandparents lived with Terra's family.
"Why, hello there, Terra!" Terra's grandmother greeted. "Would you like a bagel?"
"Sure," Terra answered.
"I thought you'd say that! So I made one for you." Terra's grandmother handed her a plate with two pieces of a bagel.
Terra took the plate and put it front of her. "Thank you," Terra said, standing up. "I'm going to grab a yogurt and an apple." Terra walked to the fridge and took out a yogurt and apple. She walked back to the table and started eating.
The three of them heard a door open and Lilly appeared. They all stared at her.
Lilly looked just like Terra but at the moment her hair was messy and her shirt was both inside out and backwards.
"I was tired last night. I couldn't think straight," Lilly answered everyone's question before they even said it.
"You're up early, Lilly. Usually you wake up twenty minuets later than when you're suppossed to. This morning, you got up ten minuets later," Terra explained to Lilly.
"Oh darn. I coulda slept in..." Lilly said groggilly.
"Well, do you want a bagel, Lilly?" Terra's grandmother asked.
"No, I'll just have cereal," Lilly answered. She walked over to the cupboard with cereal boxes in it and grabbed Coco Puffs. She grabbed a bowl and poured Coco Puffs in.
"Uhh...Lilly? Should you be eating Coco Puffs?" Terra asked.
"It's the only cereal that keeps me awake for more than an hour," Lilly replied. After pouring milk and grabbing a spoon, she took a spoonful and stuck it in her mouth. "Ew...it's plain tasting!" she grabbed a sugar bowl and put a spoonful in the bowl. Then she tried it again. "Ew...still plain tasting!"
Terra stared at Lilly. How can Coco Puffs be plain tasting with sugar in it? she thought. it was too sweet even without the sugar! Terra watched as Lilly dumped the entire sugar bowl into the cereal and tried it again.
"Yummy..." Lilly said in delight.
"Ewww..." Terra whispered to herself. She finsihed her bagel just as her grandparents had. They all (except Lilly) stood up and threw away their trash. Terra then walked to the bathroom to brush her teeth.
Once that was done, Terra went back to her room and packed her backback. She went out the the living room to check what time it was. 6:30.
"Great! That means instead of having ten minuets to study like usual, I have twenty minuets!" Terra said out loud, not realizing that Lilly was already done getting ready and was in the living room too.
"And that means I have twenty minuets to annoy you by watching cartoons loudly!" Lilly said in an annoying voice, pretending to sound like Terra.
Terra shook her head and sat at the table studying for science, her worst subject. She once got a B in the fourth grade and was trying hard to keep her A+ averange.
While Lilly was watching Foster's Home For Imaginary Friends (no offence to people who like that show! i like too!) loudly to annoy Terra.
Terra knew what to do: she reached into her backpack and pulled out her iPod Shuffle. She turned it on and couldn't hear a sound. Lilly walked over and pressed pause on the iPod.
"What are you listening to, Motzart?" she asked.
Terra pushed pause again to play the music. "No, Green Day!" she answered loudly. As if to make sure she was saying the right thing. "I'm listening to it so I can't hear you or the TV!"
"Clever..." Lilly said, scratching her head.
"What'd you say????" Terra asked.
"Clever!" Lilly repeated.
"What?"
"Nevermind!" Lilly screamed and walked back to the couch.
"What?"
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
After lots of arguing, the clock finally read, 6:50. The time the twins had to leave to walk for the bus stop (ten minuet walk) and ride the rest of the way to school.
Terra grabbed four dollars off the counter their parents gave them for lunch. Terra turned around and saw Lilly's hand outstretched.
"Can I have my money please?" she asked.
"No," Terra simply answered. She tried to walk to the door.
"Why not?" Lilly asked, following Terra to the door.
"Because Mom and Dad asked me to keep it until lunch becasue you spend your money on candy from the candy machine," Terra explained stopping until they were finshed with the conversation.
"Fine," Lily gave up the argument. "Let's go." she grabbed her jacket and umbrella and waited for Terra.
-------------------------------------------------------------------
At 6:58, they were at the bus stop and departed to talk to their friends.
Terra walked towards three girls. They notcied her and walked to her.
"Hey Mia, May, and Alex," Terra greeted.
"Hello," the girl named, Mia greeted.
"What's up?" asked the girl called, Alex.
"Not much, so what did you do over spring break?" Terra asked.
The girl named Mia had shoulder-lengh brown hair and green eyes. Her hair was in a ponytail and holding it up was a pink bow. And of course, she had the school uniform on. She was quiet and a vegeterian.
The girl named Alex had shoulder-lengh red hair with turquoise type of eye color. She had her in a ponytail too but it was held up with a rubber band. Though not easy to see. She was the sporty one in their group and often busy to do anything else. Except hanging out with her friends. Again, school uniform on.
The girl named May was always wide-eyed and curious like a new-born kitten (??? I do not know!). She had chin-lengh blonde hair and was kind of a dork. You never could guess what she was going to do next. Some people thought she was crazy, and she might have been! And you can probably guess what she was wearing. She was Alex's cousin.
"Well, May and I hung out at California all spring break," Alex explained. "We went to Disneyland one day and one time, we rode Space Mountain and then she requested that we should ride Matthorn. Even the line was super long. So we waited. After twenty minuets, it was our turn, but she suddenly decided to ride Space Moutain again! It was crazy!"
"Wow," Terra exclaimed.
"I went to Denver to see my Aunt," Mia explained. "While we were there, her cat had kittens, and I got to keep one! I named it Denver..."
Cool," Terra said.
"What did you do?" May asked.
"I hung out, practiced my sport stuff. And I read Guardians of Ga'Hoole again."
"Haven't you read that book three times already?" Alex asked.
"So?" Terra asked.
The bus came and opened the door as everyone scrambled in.
Lilly sat by her friends Matt and Dean.
Matt had spikey brown hair and turquoise eyes. He wore the uniform too. He had to wear a white shirt and blue shorts. He was goofy and carefree. He was always nice to people. He's Alex's twin brother and May's cousin.
Dean was in seventh grade. He had spikey brown hair too. But his had a little gold in it. He had greenish blue eyes. He wore the exact same thing Matt wore (obviously). He was more quiet and mature. He is Mia's older brother.
"You know that book assignment?" Lilly asked. Matt nodded. Dean was learning how to be an editor for books. His class would be editing the sixth graders' stories, and the eighth grade would have to take them home, read them, and make family members read them. "What are you writing about?"
Matt smiled the hugest smile Lilly and Dean had ever seen. He was dying to tell someone apparantly. "Well, my story's about this uhhhh..." he saw that no one was interested. "Fine! Be that way!" he said teasingly.
The bus parked in front of the school and everyone got off and entered the school.
so tell me what you think!!!!!!
