I've never played the games myself (maybe one of these days) but I still find the news interesting.

I love court movies, and I love Ace Attorney. I doubt it'll be a masterpiece but I'll definitely watch it.

lol, once i heard this, i knew it was gonna be directed by Takashi Miike. I'm not really worried about this being bad, so....cool.

I'm a bit worried because a lot of the series' charm comes from its outlandish and unrealistic characters/moments/instances embedded within some of the grimmer cases so I wonder how the balance or ratio of non-serious to serious will be. But then again, this is a Japanese film, right?

Still interested in seeing this film when and if it comes to fruition (hopefully it doesn't get cancelled or anything).
