It's been a week since the last maintenance. This maintenance, lasting from 13:00 to 16:00 JST on Thursday, 28 August 2014, introduced to us a whole lot of new stuff to enjoy! In a nutshell, summer event has begun, so it goes without saying that the old-school Watermelon and Fireworks Heartless have made their glorious return. That's just one of the many things we can expect to see in the game!
As usual, let's get down to business and tackle on the maintenance update. That we can enjoy the official update in English is all thanks to the hard work of Kazr10!
Commencement of Summer Event
After today's maintenance till the maintenance on 11th September, 6 summer-themed Heartless are introduced and they can be found throughout the worlds.
Throughout this period, there are 2 limited events where the amount of event Heartless you have defeated will be taken into consideration:
1) Subjugation Count Ranking
- Based on the number of event Heartless you kill, you can stand to earn exclusive rewards based on the overall ranking.
- There are 3 rankings for each level of Heartless: L33 & L44, L555, and L666.
- Exclusive rewards include limited SR and SR+ card with up to x5 Boost, the skill "Second Chance", and a limited Afro Hairstyle!
2) Battle Between Unions! Defeat the Level 666 Heartless!
- To receive the reward for this event, you will have to defeat 1 Level 555 Large Fireworks.
- The top 3 Unions that defeated the most number of Level 666 Event Heartless will receive great rewards!
※ Watermelons and Fireworks have separate counters and compensation. For example, if your union scores the 1st in Watermelon subjugation and 2nd in Fireworks subjugation, you will be rewarded with both the first and second prizes.
Rewards for these events will be distributed after the maintenance on 18th September. Refer here for the list of rewards.
During this event, the abilities "Wind Barrage" and "Wind Barrage+" will provide a damage boost when fighting these event Heartless. Wind Barrage increases 50% of the card's attack when High Purified, and Wind Barrage+ increases 100% of the card's attack when High Purified.

Application of Guilt Bonus to Field Heartless
After today's maintenance, Guilt Bonus Damage that is previously applicable to Raid Bosses only, has been implemented to Field Heartless as well!
※ No changes have been made to the guilt bonus formula for Raid Bosses.
※ Guilt Bonus Formula for Field Heartless is Total Guilt Bonus / 4.
※ Guilt Bonus Damage will be dealt together with the attack of the 1st card in the 1st turn. Note that this bonus damage only takes effect once per Heartless, it will not occur for any other turns or continues.
Arrival of September's Kingdom and Daily Attack Boxes!
After today's maintenance till the maintenance on 25th September, "September's Kingdom Box" is available for purchase in the shop. Inside them will contain a x4 Boosted SR+ card with the ability "Wind Barrage+", a x2 Boosted SR card, skills, and many more! Only 2 can be purchased during this period.
Also after today's maintenance till the maintenance on 4th September, "Daily Attack Box" that includes a Boosted SR card is available as well. 1 can be purchased each day up to a maximum of 8.

Premium Raise Draw
After today's maintenance till the maintenance on 11th September, a limited Premium Raise Draw will be available.
The Premium Raise Draw costs exactly the same as the regular one: 300 Charge Munny for 1 Draw, 3,000 for 11-Consecutive Draws. By participating in the 11-Consecutive Premium Draw, there is a guarantee of 1 SR card and you will also receive 1 x SR+ Yen Sid, 5 x SR Yen Sid, 5 x SR+ Moogle, 2000000 Munny.
Rate of draw is: SR+, 6% / SR, 14% / R+ 80%. All SR and SR+ cards in the Premium Draw are boosted, which lasts till 11th September.
Additional Attack Cards to the Raise Draw Roster!
After today's maintenance, SR+ Sora, SR+ Riku, SR Sora, and SR Riku, with the ability Wind Barrage has ben added to the Raise Draw Roster. All 4 cards are boosted till the maintenance on 11th September.The ability Wind Barrage+ increases the damage dealt by that card on the current event Heartless by 75%, and 100% when High Purified.

Card Synthesis Double EXP Campaign
After today's maintenance till the end of 31st August, card synthesis EXP will be doubled.
Limited Damage Ranking Rewards
From 1st September till 7th September, exclusive rewards will be given based on your final damage ranking.

Conclusion of Field Material Campaign
As of today's maintenance, the field material mechanics will revert back to normal. Each material will have its own re-spawn time and there is a chance of collecting 1-3 materials per try.
Current Event Missions
■ Raid Boss Missions
After today's maintenance, limited Raid Boss and Damage missions will be held. There will be another set of missions commencing from 1st September.
Exclusive Rewards include: Boosted R+ Flotsam & Jetsam, Boosted SR King Mickey, Boosted SR Eric, Attack Up V, Combo Plus, SR+ Card Medal, Orichalcum, and SR+ Yen Sid
Note: Together with the SR+ Sora and Riku card last week, SR King Mickey also comes with the special ability Wind Barrage+. This ability increases the damage dealt by that card on the upcoming event Heartless next week by 75%, and 100% when High Purified.
■ New Guilt Targets
After today's maintenance, there will be a new Guilt List. There are also missions based on the number of Guilt Targets completed that rewards Moogle Medals and Orichalcums! The current Guilt List will be renewed on the maintenance on 11th September.

■ Trial and Guilt Target Missions
After today's maintenance, new Trial and Guilt missions are added on top of the current list. The new Trial missions come with a new criteria where you have to use a specific Keyblade to clear the number of required Continue/Turn/Card trials.

Raid Boss
After today's maintenance till the maintenance on 11h September, "R Trident Anchor" and "Trident Anchor Subspecies" will appear as the Raid Boss.

Till maintenance on 11th September, based on the time you spend to defeat a Raid Boss, the appearance of the next Boss will depend on the following:
・Raid Boss defeat within 5 minutes
→ Cool-down period till the next Boss is 5 minutes. Level will be increased by 10. Subspecies Gauge increased by 40%.
・Raid Boss defeat between 5 - 15 minutes
→ Cool-down period till the next Boss is 7 minutes. Level will be increased by 5. Subspecies Gauge increased by 30%.
・Raid Boss defeat between 15 - 30 minutes
→ Cool-down period till the next Boss is 10 minutes. Level will be increased by 1. Subspecies Gauge increased by 20%.
・Raid Boss defeat more than 30 minutes
→ Cool-down period till the next Boss is 10 minutes. Level will be increased by 1. Subspecies Gauge increased by 10%.
・Subspecies Boss defeat within 5 minutes
→ Cool-down period till the next Boss is 5 minutes. Level will be increased by 10. Subspecies Gauge increase by 50%.
・Subspecies Boss defeat between 5 - 15 minutes
→ Cool-down period till the next Boss is 7 minutes. Level will be increased by 5. Subspecies Gauge increase by 40%.
・Subspecies Boss defeat more than 15 minutes

Rewards from the Team Battle event held from 22nd August to 24th August and 25th August to 27th August have been distributed into the Present Box after today's maintenance. These includes Moogle Medals, Fairy Godmothers, Yen Sids and the boosted SR+ DDD Sora and Riku Attack Card.
