I don't think it was even a real keyblade. It seemed to me that it was just given to her to help defend herself, because we never heard of it or saw it again. Maybe it wasn't even a keyblade, but a weapon that just appeared to help her. You'll notice that when Mickey, Riku, and Sora opened Kingdom hearts with their Keyblades, Kairi didn't come forth to help.
P.S. You need to change the name of the subject. It may be posted in the Spiler forum, but people could still read it and get mad at being spoiled. just a thought

Well, it IS a keyblade. I believe it was confirmed by Tetsuya in an interview. But HOW she got it, well, it's obvious.

Maybe he got real good at synthesis............or not. I dunno, she just needed something to fight with I guess, so Nomura just threw that in for fun or suttin

it sounds lik a lot of people replying diddnt even get up to this part. Basically that keyblade is the keyblade of present. It is real. Riku gave it to her. No one knows how.

what proof do you have? there is no proof that it is the keyblade of present, there is no proof that it is a real keyblade, there is no proof that it is even kairi's keyblade, theres not even proof if she will ever use it again........................keyblader1234567 said:

That IS NOT the Keyblade of the Present! AT ALL. The Present Keyblade is THE LAST important Keyblade that has yet to be REVEALED. They would NOT throw it in as some random, stupid looking piece of crap.
Riku gave it to her. It's possible he connected taht weapon with Kairi's heart, therefore giving it form and allowing it to exist. Kairi has a PURE Heart. It allows her to wield a Keyblade.
She is NOT a Chosen One. She was not granted it, it was GIVEN to her. It's not a TRUE Keyblade. It's false.

well, i dont know if anyone else noticed, but it had flowers on it. and at the time, riku had his dark powers still, so maybe he like, created it from her heart

I am sorry you all, you have to realize where Inner Demon is coming from, it is not right to judge him. Kidding, but sereiously, there would be more saying that it is the keyblade of present (like it existing while the others were in the same scene) than it not being one. (Pretty much the only "proof" you all have is that Nomura would not just throw it in like that, that seems kinda presumptious, don't you think.

She also didn't use it to Open the Door. We see the other three Keys have that ability. It's just silly. Kairi isn't a Keyblade Master.
not sure if i remeber or not but did the so called keyblade she got have a keychain. I think u can distinguish fake keyblades from real ones by their keychains...thats just my theory if her's was real or not.
