Inuyasha episodes

Does anyone know when they are bringing more episodes form Japan to the U.S. or when they are going to start making more episodes? I read on a website they started making more episodes in Japan in 2006 I don't know if this is true though. Don't they stop showing reruns if the show has ended for good? If they do then Inuyahsda must have more episodes somewhere in the future because it has never been stopped or canceled it on Adult Swim as they do with some shows. ((example FLCL stopped when the episodes were done))

There are only 167 episodes in the anime series. In you have seen "The bond between them: Use the power of the sacred jewel shard!" episodes, you have seen the entire series. If you want to know want happens next, you'll need to read the manga.
