Hayao Miyazaki's next film is going to be based on the novel Howl's Moving Castle by English author Diana Wynne Jones. I'm so excited for this!! ^^ It comes out in US theaters June 10th, I've been waiting since December! I just finished the book recently too, I thought it was wonderful, it was very clever. Anyway, I plan on missing school to go see it the day it comes out. XD I'm such a Miyazaki geek.

Check it out!!! :D

A bunch of trailers and clips here.

I believe it is opening nation wide. And few sites I've been to mentioned premiere showings in New York and California. This movie is expected to be far more successful than Spirited Away was. :)

I'm also a Miyazaki freak, can't wait for this movie to come out. I rather liked Spirited Away though, rather unique story and . . . HAKU . . . Yeah, this movie's going to be great. I can FEEL it ;)

by looking at the trailer, it doesnt look very appealing to me. But i like a lot of Miyazaki's stuff, so i'll probably still stop in and give it a shot.

Nyee it's not fair, I have to wait till September for the German dub. >___<

But on the other hand, I've already seen the fansub. ^.^ I think the whole plot is a little hard to get sometimes. Well at least to me. *started reading the book afterwards* But more importantly: Howl is gorgeous. And naked too. XD *fangirls*

The thing about Ghibli that impresses me the most is that they're able to make animes without any yaoi-basis and I still <3 them to no end. XD Err, yes.

Did anybody see this yet? I'm dying to but unfortunately it doesn't show in my hometown. I've heard it wasn't as good as Spirited Away but still worth seeing. Does anybody agree?

I want to see it. Does anyone know where to get the listings of cities they show it in? I thought Spirited Away was very good.

Not exactly it's by the guy who was making anime for like little girls until recently.
Not that I dont likle those movies it's just they seem girly.

*Ahem*
Disney does absolutley nothing for miyazaki movies except for one thing:
Advertising. That is it.
Otherwise, that's all stuido ghibli, anyways, i've seen it, really good (as usual) but I hate it dubbed, can't wait until it comes out on DVD so I can see subbed.

I saw it, it was really good. I think it was actually better than Spirited Away, but that's just me. It had more plot, that's for sure.

I think Disney does a pretty good job of dubbing studio ghibli films... better than 4Kids x__x;. Anyway, it was pretty funny. (a couple parts in it o__o) it takes a lot to make me laugh...
