Stories of spirits, ghosts and of the paranormal are quite common even to this age. It’s not surprising that every school has mysteries haunting every hushed talks and whispers of every student on a daily basis. It’s become a part of the daily lives of students and faculty members that these stories have also been made the butt of every joke or made into a farce by mischievous students to pick on their weaker peers.
In Shichirei Gakuen, this was not the case. Every single person in this school dreads the utterance of such stories, dwelling upon the incidents of the past which had inflated into such great superstition, a taboo amongst them.
“Do not speak ill of the dead,” or “the walls have eyes and the floors have ears” are just two of the many sayings in this school.
Like any other school, Shichirei had started out as an institution hoping to deliver its children to a wonderful future while ensuring they have lived a happy adolescent life before they became adults. Where have they gone wrong? Who was at fault? No one can really say, but all the good, the bad and the ugly things that one could hope for or fear might just happen to you if you enter this High School.
The mysteries which were supposed to be mishaps of the imagination or playful tricks of the light were not the case in Shichirei. For years this plague had been on everyone’s heads as soon as they enter the premises; one comes in, but it’s not a guarantee that they can ever go out.
As the start of the new school year, new unsuspecting and fresh young students begin a new life at Shichirei. Without a single idea about the new world they have come to embark, worrying about teachers or exams should be the least of their worries. For this new beginning, this flourishing journey to High School may just be their withering way to Hell.

Japan, Present Day (2012)
I’m not familiar with the provinces and prefectures in Japan, but in a nutshell, the RP will take place in a peaceful community or town in the outskirts of Tokyo. I wouldn’t say that the area is secluded, but the idea is that the place is, even if it’s already modern day Japan, people around town still have the tendency to be superstitious and hush, hushed.

Rules and Regulations
1) Must create a bio following the standard format provided for this RP in order to be accepted.
2) RP Posts should be no less than a paragraph. One liner-post is not allowed, be creative. A separate discussion thread will be provided for each chapter, so no OOC posts within the main RP. No exemptions.
3) Fighting/Battles is allowed, however any excess shall be cited and if proven to be disturbing or hindering the progression of the RP. Remember to keep it down and no flaming other players. If it’s a personal disagreement, do it over PM.
4)
Romance is allowed, but let not go overboard. Keep it to a minimum of kissing/making out.
5)
- No God-Modding or Power-Playing. I don't care if your character is the most strongest student in the school. If I see you even try to punch a spirit that's trying to kill you, consider yourself dead. In this RP you use your head, not being rambo and thinking you're Goku.
6)
If your character is about to die, you're allowed to use your second chance. Similar to the Borderlands system, you'll have a chance to make a post in order to save your character from certain death or ask another player to come help you with succession being it's a reasonable escape/save. Every player will get 1 second chance for every ARC that is completed or is rewarded by the GM upon completion on certain special events. Of course this is one of many rewards (Firearms, Buddhist Beads, etc) that can save you when the times comes. If by any chance your character dies, you are allowed to replace your character.

To encourage we don't have any deserters in this RP, those who stick through the first ARC will be given special in-game rewards and a high school ID badge to put on your signature. If for some unfortunate reason you are going to be inactive, please let a GM know so we can do something about your character instead of just letting him/her get killed off. If you by chance happen to come back before the RP ends, you'll receive your in-game rewards for the ARC. You can also discuss with the GMs if you feel you deserve your in-game rewards if you come back after the ARC ends.

This is a GM based RP, but there’s no need to wait for every GM post to get everything going. If in doubt, ask any of the GM’s. The progress of the RP lies within the players, GM posts are made to guide the storyline, but everything else (unless crucial to the RP) is player discretion.
In every chapter, different mysteries will be revealed, so if you’re a fan of horror anime and manga, you might see some reference here and there.
