Ansem is, like, the easiest boss in the game. Believe it or not, Malificeant(sp?) Dragon took me longer to do in normal mode.

Just make sure to use break his sleight when he sends his helper/guardian at you.

i agree with mxultima and zoidburg. maleficent was harder and you need more HP. but i believe that you did get that far with little stats. i did too
