depends ion what position you were in, the PSP is just lighter and slightly closer to eachother, maybe you felt more grip when it was bigger or more assured on what you will be pressing. but other than that there is no real difference between PSP 1000 and PSP 2000-3000.

when i first got the DS i hated it because i never gave it a real chance, no i like it. but not alot.
