~Harmless~
Intro
Dust picked up as the beast raced across the plains. The beast had long, green ears and blue pupiless eyes. It's body was completely covered in feathers matching the colour of it's rough face. It also had a long, strong tail. Riding upon this frantic beast was a man who had long, blonde hair and blue eyes. He had long ears exactly like the beast. He was a elf. With one arm, he slightly took hold of the beast's ear, and the beast took no notice. The other arm held onto a bow which swung up and down in the breeze that furiously attempted to push the elf right of the beast's back.
The elf moved his eyes to a flock of gazelle that silently grazed. They took no notice of the lef as he rushed past. The beast then picked up it's pace, taking a quick jump to dodge a rock, "Nice one, Helthrid." The elf whispered into the beast's ear. The beast grunted in return. The elf then looked behind him to see something closing in. A giant worm rushed towards him, and the elf laughed because atop of the worm was a dwarf, who was screaming in delight, the elf shouted at the dwarf, "And you thought you could beat me with that useless peice of junk!"
The dwarf screamed in reply, gasping everytime the worm crashed through a rock which wasn't that much, "It ain't be 'dat easy, lad! Not easy at all!" The elf laughed. It was obvious what they were doing, they were racing. In the distance rested the grand city of Marsh'Rant. It's walls gleamed with all it's magnificent glory. It's citadel towered over the landscape producing a massive shadow.
Slowly and slowly, the elf and dwarf neared the great city. Both beasts panted, obviously becoming tired. Eventually they reached the gates and came to an abrupt stop. The guards glared angrily at the elf, and dwarf and the two glared back. One of the guards grunted, and moved to open the gate. Almost immediately, a voice called out for the two.
(Yes, I know it's short .. But, you have to admit, it's only the intro. ^___^)
