That's biased. Not MANY fans are die hard FF fans. Alot of KH fans do NOT even WANT FF in the mix, saying it doesn't add to the game and is just fan pleasing. And that's basically what it is. Leave the FF appearances to what they are, no more is needed.
Ummm, what? The biggest appeal of Kingdom Hearts is the mix of Final Fantasy and Disney. That's what Kingdom Hearts is. The original characters and storylines are very similar to Final Fantasy. Regardless if the mix of Final Fantasy characters weren't in there. The point about the game is that we got two different worlds and combined them. There's no way in hell the game would like right if these cool and developed characters are running around with goofy, unexperienced, completely under-developed characters. The Final Fantasy is WHAT evens it. And btw, you can't call me out on being bias and do the exact thing in the same sentence.
Although, you half-way proved my point that we do need to give a little more focus on the other half of Kingdom Hearts, which is Final Fantasy. If you feel they don't add to the game, then it's obvious they need a bigger part.

FF doesn't even anything. I'm not biased. I'm not a Disney fan, and I'm not that big of a FF fan. So I'm open to whatever. But to say this game needs more FF is just so ill-conceived. FF isn't necessary, most don't even care if FF is in it or not.

Honestly, I'm not a fanboy of anything. I played a couple of Final Fantasy games but they aren't on my top list. Neither am I a hardcore Disney fan(although, majority of the movies used are my classics that I grew up on), but regardless, it's unfair to call this a Final Fantasy-Disney mix and have all the Final Fantasy characters sit in the background with silly one-liners. Although, I have to give them credit that they slightly expanded the FF stories in KH II(Cloud's story). Although, it was so thin you'd hardly care for it, much less, realize when it's over.

You're on the right track. I'm saying that it can easily go both ways. The story could go without Disney and Final Fantasy(which then, it would just be another Final Fantasy game) but I prefer it with Disney and Final Fantasy. I just think that Disney is just as worthless as Final Fantasy is. Either way, I prefer more coverage on Final Fantasy characters than anything else.
I, personally, prefer Disney content to FF. But this IS a collaboration with Disney nonetheless. So it's GOING to be there. FF characters are so obviously thrown in to please the fans, NOT balance out the worlds or crap like that.

So you mean to tell me that you can pretty much picture the much more matured characters and stories along with the Disney characters? I can't see it being there without Final Fantasy to back it up. And Disney can be fan pleasers just as much as Final Fantasy is. Plus, Square-Enix owns the original characters. Disney hardly does anything to the game except sign over rights and promote. If you want to know what Kingdom Hearts would really be like if Disney had anything to do with it, here this out.

You're very much mistaken, Disney OWNS Sora, Riku, Kairi and ANY original characters that come from Kingdom Hearts. You're back on your information. That idea never happened, that anime was RUMORED, NEVER confirmed by ANY source.
Kingdom Hearts IS made to HAVE Disney, that's the FOCAL point of the series. FF is to please fans. And if it wasn't there it would work just as well. FF serves nothing towards KH.

i agree with I-D, the biggest part FF had in KH1 was to find sora in traverse town, and say a bit about the gummi-ships, and in KH2, they were no more important to the plot then alladin or mulan

It is co-owned. But Disney OWNS the Original Characters that come from the series. That's been stated by Nomura himself. Disney honors his work by allowing him say over the characters, but they could throw them anywhere, it's their RIGHT. It was part of the contract since KH1.

You are obviously mistaken and wrong. Swuare-Enix owns the original characters. They own them 100%. Disney owns part of the Kingdom Hearts franchise and the worlds that we visit in the games. Although, Square-Enix might as well own the games as well, considering that they sign their rights over to them.
And the Kingdom Hearts RUMOUR was in fact true. You don't have to believe, which I wouldn't expect you too, considering, you think you're always right. There was a lot of evidence in the early pre-production that it was heavily planned and worked on and I promise you that what I speak of is true.
